China Cement Network Project Link shows that the bidding for each section of Chongqing Wushan (boundary between Hubei and Chongqing) to Wanzhou Section (Phase I) of G4223 Wuhan-Chongqing Expressway is under way recently. The total investment of the project is 32.689 billion yuan, which is expected to drive the demand for cement by 1.1329 million tons, concrete by 2.8322 million cubic meters and sand by 5.6645 million tons.
G4223 Wuhan-Chongqing Expressway Chongqing Wushan (boundary between Hubei and Chongqing) to Wanzhou Section (Phase I) has been approved by Chongqing Development and Reform Commission. The owner of the project is Chongqing Yanjiang South Line Expressway Development Co., Ltd., and the construction funds are self-raised by the owner. The construction sites are Wanzhou District, Yunyang County, Fengjie County and Wushan County, with a total length of 141.613 kilometers. The main line adopts the standard of two-way four-lane expressway, with a design speed of 100 kilometers per hour and a roadbed width of 26 meters. Six connecting lines are constructed synchronously, totaling about 18.3 kilometers, with a total investment of 32.689 billion yuan.
