China Cement Network Project Link shows that the project related to the reconstruction and expansion of Shijiazhuang EMU Station from Shijiazhuang to Xiongan New Area is under bidding. It is estimated that the railway project is expected to drive cement demand of 2.528 million tons, concrete demand of 5.46 million cubic meters and sand demand of 22.752 million tons.

The line of this project is led out from the newly-built Yuhua East Station of Shijiazhuang Hub, runs northward through Shijiazhuang High-tech Zone, Zhengding New District and Zhengding Airport Station of Beijing-Guangzhou high-speed rail, and then connects to the Xiongxin High-speed Railway Station under construction of Baoding East Station of Beijing-Guangzhou high-speed rail through Wuji, Anguo and Lixian County. The newly-built line is about 156 kilometers long. Using Xiongxin high-speed rail to introduce Xiongan Station and reserving access conditions for the line from Renqiu to Xiongan in Lixian County, six new stations have been set up on the whole line, including Lixian West, Anguo East, Wuji, Zhengding Airport, Zhengding East and Yuhua East. Shijiazhuang Hub has built 6.8 kilometers of Northwest Liaison Line from this line to Shijiazhuang East Station of Shiji high-speed rail, rebuilt Shijiazhuang East Station, expanded Shijiazhuang Station EMU Station, added 4-line inspection depot and 21storage lines, and reserved EMU Station construction conditions for Zhengding East Station.
