It is understood that the project is located in Tastobie Township, Gongliu County, Yili Prefecture, Xinjiang, with an average elevation of about 1040m, a total of three sites are planned, with a total installed capacity of 500MW and an area of 1171.1 hectares. It is constructed by Huaneng (Gongliu) New Energy Power Generation Co., Ltd .

The project plans to adopt 615 Wp and 620 Wp monocrystalline silicon double-sided photovoltaic modules , and configure 50 MW/100 M Wh energy storage battery system. A new 220kV booster station is expected to be completed and put into operation on December 31, 2026.
