2019, Guinness World Records awarded Denmark Smith OK 81-6 cement roller mill as the world's largest cement roller mill record certificate, and held a grand awarding ceremony at the headquarters of Smith Company in Copenhagen. The
OK 81-6 cement roller mill system was the innovative business undertaken by FLSmidth at the beginning of 2016 in response to demand from Abul Khair Group, the largest cement producer in Bangladesh. Through the joint efforts of the company's headquarters, India and Poland branches, as well as the relevant engineers and technicians in Bangladesh, we have experienced a series of fruitful work in R & D, design, manufacturing, construction and installation for two years. On September 6, 2018, the complete set of OK 81-6 cement roller mill equipment and its system were completed and put into trial production in Shah Cement Plant, Munshiganj City, Bangladesh.
OK 81-6 cement roller mill is the largest cement roller mill in the world today (see figure). The total height of the mill is 25.6 meters, the total weight is 1906 tons, 71 piles are driven for the mill foundation, each pile has a diameter of one meter and a depth of 65 meters, and the reinforced concrete consumption of the whole foundation is 4360 tons. The grinding disc is 8.08m in diameter and 3.462m in height. It is equipped with 6 grinding rollers with a diameter of 2.64m. The mill is driven by dual drive. There are two MAAG MaxDrive reducers with a power of 5800kW each, totaling 11600kW. The weight of the reducer is 2 × 160 = 320 tons. < br/>

In the trial production stage after the successful commissioning of the whole system, the owner assessed the performance of the grinding system for the production of various types of cement, and the results are as follows.
OPC cement: composition- clinker 95%, gypsum 5%, output 540 t/H, Blaine 3600 cm2/G.
PPC cement: composition-clinker 65%, gypsum 5%, fly ash 35%, output 640 t/H, Blaine 3800 cm2/G.
PSC cement: composition-clinker 65%, gypsum 5%, slag 35%, output 450 t/H, Blaine 3800 cm2/G.
Finely ground ore powder, slag 100%, output 380 t/H, Brinell 4000 cm2/G. The unit power consumption of
various products is 5% -10% less than that of the world general level. Since the beginning of
2019, it has been transferred to normal commercial production at full load, and the whole system is running well and reliably. The long-term stable production data show that its output and unit power consumption are 3% -5% better than those in the assessment, and some are even better. The owner is very satisfied. When it
is necessary to change the type of cement produced, the switching time of the whole system can be completed in only a few minutes. When the three grinding rollers are running, the system output can reach 60% ~ 70% of the normal output, which is convenient to adjust the output of the mill in a large range to meet the market demand, and the user feels convenient and simple.
