Time for the volume, struggle for the pen. For a long time, Jiangsu Yicheng Southern Cement Co., Ltd. has been deeply studying and practicing Xi Jinping's ecological civilization thought, promoting the deep integration of Party building and green development, and following the "green" and "new" line. With the optimization and upgrading project of 7000 t/d cement clinker production line as the strategic fulcrum, the enterprise has taken a key step in the transformation of traditional manufacturing industry to green intelligent manufacturing. In October 2023, the project successfully entered the trial production stage, focusing on key areas such as ultra-low emissions, digital intelligent control, clean transportation and so on, the enterprise continued to work hard and intensively to speed up the construction of a green manufacturing system covering the whole chain. With the first A-level cement enterprise with environmental performance in Jiangsu Province falling to the south of Yicheng, this systematic change driven by the upgrading of production lines has made great efforts to write A heavy development answer sheet in the hot land of the Yangtze River Delta. At the critical moment of overcoming difficulties in the project, the backbone of Party members charge ahead, so that the Party flag is always flying high in the front line of green transformation, which provides a strong political guarantee and organizational guarantee for enterprises to realize the leap from traditional manufacturing to A-level performance enterprises of environmental protection.
In recent years, Yicheng South has taken the lead in promoting capacity reduction replacement and integration optimization with a high sense of responsibility and mission. By shutting down and integrating four old production lines, a new energy-saving and environmental protection cement clinker production line with a daily output of 7000 tons was built. The project started construction in July 2022, focusing on the goal of "intensive, green, high-end and intelligent", optimizing the design of system integration, upgrading intelligent equipment and energy saving and emission reduction, and supporting the construction of 13 MW pure waste heat power generation system to achieve efficient recovery and utilization of waste heat energy. Through the optimization and upgrading of the source, the enterprise has laid a solid foundation for the follow-up deep emission reduction and intelligent management and control.
Deep governance to tackle difficulties, fine control to promote upgrading
, relying on the optimized and upgraded production line platform, Yicheng South launched a comprehensive battle for ultra-low emissions. In the aspect of organized emission control, the system process of "low nitrogen combustion + precise SNCR + SCR combined denitrification system + bag dust removal + wet desulfurization" is introduced to stabilize the emission concentrations of dust, sulfur dioxide and nitrogen oxides at ≤ 10 ≤ 10/Nm ³, ≤ 35 ≤ 35/Nm ³, ≤ 50/Nm ³, and ammonia escape concentration of flue gas at ≤ 8 mg/Nm ³. It is better than national ultra-low emission requirements. In the aspect of fugitive emission control, the production line builds a fully enclosed conveying system, connecting the production workshop and each storage through the corridor; the limestone pre-homogenization stack shed, the auxiliary material and the raw coal pre-homogenization stack shed fully adopt the "grid fully enclosed + spray dust suppression system", and more than 100 high-efficiency dust collectors are located in all dust-producing points, forming a three-dimensional provention and control network of "closed + dust suppression + dust collection". Three breakthroughs have been made in the field of clean transportation: from the mining area to the plant area, a 1.2-kilometer underground transportation corridor has been built to realize the full electric transportation of more than 10,000 tons of limestone every day, ending dust pollution; coal and other raw materials arrive at the wharf by water, and the sales of finished products account for nearly 80% of the shipping; 100% of the finished products are transported by national six or new energy vehicles, and the compliance vehicles are strictly identified through the intelligent access control system.
On the basis of optimizing the production line, Yicheng South vigorously promotes the digital upgrade of the environmental management and control system. The environmental intelligent integrated management and control platform constructed by the enterprise integrates five functional modules to promote the leap of environmental protection management from "manual inspection" to "intelligent early warning": the intelligent management and control module of CEMS system monitors the data of main discharge outlets such as kiln head, kiln tail, coal mill and cement mill in real time; the intelligent management and control module of unorganized emission dynamically tracks the operation status of dust suppression equipment; The intelligent management and control module of clean transportation monitors the total amount and proportion of clean transportation in real time, and intelligently links with the traffic department; the road cleaning management module automatically washes the vehicles leaving the factory; the air micro-station system monitors the concentration of particulate matter in the factory area in real time, and alarms and handles the abnormal situation in time. The five modules work together to promote environmental management to be high-end, refined and intelligent.
The A-level performance started
from the trial production of the production line in October 2023 to the completion of the whole process of ultra-low emission transformation in August 2025 and passed the evaluation and monitoring (becoming the first cement enterprise in Jiangsu Province to meet the ultra-low emission standards). In just two years, Yicheng South has accelerated the green transformation with the 7000 t/d optimization and upgrading project as the starting point. After the transformation, the enterprise reduced the emission of nitrogen oxides by 65 tons, sulfur dioxide by 70 tons and particulate matter by 55 tons annually, with a cumulative pollution reduction of about 190 tons, which injected strong momentum into the battle of defending the blue sky in the Yangtze River Delta. At the same time, the enterprise roof distributed photovoltaic project has been connected to the grid, with an installed capacity of 4.26 MW and an annual power generation of about 5.3 million KWh, equivalent to about 6500 tons of standard coal.
From the optimization and upgrading of a production line to the green butterfly change of the whole chain, Yicheng South has created an economic ecosphere of resource recycling through continuous exploration and practice, and has written a new chapter of high-quality development of the cement industry on the development answer sheet. In the future, the enterprise will continue to take the blue sky and white clouds as the volume, the green water and green hills as the pen, and strive to write more brilliant green answers in the construction of beautiful China.
