Recently, Ningde Times signed a 2G Wh Tianheng Sodium Energy Storage Cooperation Agreement with Solarpro, a leading company in the field of renewable energy in Eastern Europe . The two sides plan to jointly deploy the first large-scale sodium energy storage project in Central and Eastern Europe within this year , which will accelerate the full implementation of the next generation of energy storage technology in Europe.
As a long-term strategic partner, the first cooperation between Ningde Times and Solarpro began in 2024, and the two sides deployed a 150MWh EnerC + liquid-cooled energy storage system in Bulgaria. In May this year, the 602 MWh zero-attenuation Tianheng lithium energy storage system jointly built by the two sides was successfully integrated into Bulgaria's power grid, helping to increase the country's total energy storage capacity by 10% . The signing of this contract marks the formal extension of cooperation between the two sides to the frontier field of sodium-ion batteries .
