Driving a large number of cement, sand and concrete demand, more than 30 billion highway projects are being tendered.

China Cement Network Project Link shows that the recent G4223 Wuhan-Chongqing Expressway Chongqing Wushan (Hubei-Chongqing boundary) to Wanzhou Section (Phase I) project is in public bidding. The investment amount of the project is 32.689 billion yuan, which is expected to drive the demand for 120,000 tons of cement, 125,000 tons of steel, 1 million cubic meters of concrete and 600,000 tons of sand and gravel.

G4223 Wuhan-Chongqing Expressway Chongqing Wushan (boundary between Hubei and Chongqing) to Wanzhou Section (Phase I) has been approved by Chongqing Development and Reform Commission. The owner of the project is Chongqing Yanjiang South Line Expressway Development Co., Ltd., and the construction funds are self-raised by the owner. The construction sites are Wanzhou District, Yunyang County, Fengjie County and Wushan County, with a total length of 141.613 kilometers. The main line adopts the standard of two-way four-lane expressway, with a design speed of 100 kilometers per hour and a roadbed width of 26 meters. Six connecting lines are constructed synchronously, totaling about 18.3 kilometers, with a total investment of 32.689 billion yuan.
