, 2026, Canadian Solar Inc. Atlas Energy Storage (e-STORAGE), a subsidiary of its energy storage solutions business, has signed a supply agreement with a large overseas utility company, which will provide a DC with a scale of about 500MW/2,493MWh. DC) energy storage projects provide battery energy storage systems . The project will be used to support the rapidly growing demand for data center electricity and enhance the resilience and reliability of the regional power grid.
According to the agreement, Atlas Energy Storage (e-STORAGE) will provide about 500 SolBank 3.0 energy storage systems for the project. The battery cells used in the energy storage system are independently developed and produced by Atlas. Equipment shipments are expected to begin in March 2027 and be completed by July of the same year.

With the rapid development of artificial intelligence and ultra-large-scale data centers, the global electricity load continues to rise, and the demand for flexible regulation and high reliability resources of the power grid is becoming more and more urgent. As a key power regulation infrastructure, energy storage system can effectively improve the stability of power grid and ensure the reliable access of high-power computing power load. This cooperation is an important milestone for Atlas Energy Storage to cope with the changes of power structure in the era of computing power, and to provide reliable energy security for emerging loads by improving the capacity of regional power grids.
Relying on vertically integrated manufacturing capabilities and rich experience in utility-grade project delivery, Atlas Energy Storage (e-STORAGE) will ensure that the project is delivered as planned and achieves long-term stable operation to meet the growing demand for electricity.
