In order to thoroughly implement the deployment requirements of the provincial Party Committee and the provincial government on consolidating and expanding the economic recovery to achieve a "good start" in the first quarter, on March 12, the Heilongjiang Provincial Department of Industry and Information Technology, together with the Provincial Development and Reform Commission, the Provincial Department of Transportation, the Provincial Department of Water Resources and the Provincial Department of Agriculture and Rural Areas, focused on strengthening the purchase and sale of materials for major infrastructure projects. The provincial iron and steel and cement industry supply and demand docking meeting was held. More than 80 representatives of iron and steel, cement enterprises and related units in the province attended the meeting.
At the meeting, the Provincial Development and Reform Commission introduced the overall demand arrangements for steel and cement this year around the provincial public infrastructure construction, the provincial transportation department around key transportation projects and overhaul projects, the provincial water conservancy department around major water conservancy projects in the province, and the provincial agricultural and rural department around the construction of high-standard farmland; Beidahuang Group, Guangdong Construction and Investment Group and Guangdong Trading and Investment Group respectively introduced the demand for steel and cement in major infrastructure construction projects in the province and the intention of cooperation in the next step; representatives of 5 enterprises including Yatai Cement, North Cement, Jidong Cement, Jianlong Xigang and Jianlong Agang respectively introduced key products, and the steel and cement demand units and enterprises carried out on-site communication and docking. After sorting out, the meeting initially reached more than 20 cooperation intentions.
Participating enterprises have expressed that the docking meeting has created valuable opportunities for face-to-face exchanges between suppliers and demanders, and also provided an important platform for deepening cooperation and promoting development among enterprises. Next, the Provincial Office of Industry and Information Technology will continue to cooperate with relevant departments to further build docking platforms for production and demand and industrialization of scientific and technological achievements around the steady growth of industrial economy, so as to inject strong impetus into the steady growth and quality improvement of raw materials industry in our province.
