This week, the average transaction price of N-type re-feeding (rod-shaped silicon) was 32,700 yuan/ton, down 0.30% from the previous month; The average transaction price of N-type granular silicon was 32 thousand yuan/ton, down 0.93% from the previous month.
It is worth noting that this is the 13th price reduction of silicon materials since March this year. Compared with the beginning of the year, the current price of silicon materials has dropped by more than 40%.
At present, the activity of silicon material market is still low. The main reasons why the market remained weak were: firstly, the industry inventory continued to accumulate at a high level, the downstream procurement only maintained the rhythm of rigid demand, the willingness to take the initiative to replenish the warehouse was weak, and the market trading atmosphere was light; secondly, in order to alleviate the inventory pressure, some enterprises were forced to adjust the shipment strategy, and the market behavior of price for quantity suppressed the price to a certain extent.
This week's price decline slowed down mainly because the current price has basically touched the cash cost range of enterprises in the whole industry, and the space for further price reduction is relatively limited.
