Recently, under the escort and supervision of Yunfu Customs'innovative customs clearance mode, a batch of 992.7 tons of canned cement successfully completed the loading and unloading operation at Jinwang Wharf of Yunfu Xijiang River, and set sail from Yunfu New Port after customs clearance to Hong Kong and Macao for local infrastructure construction. Promote the development of "Dongrong Bay Area" and Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area with green building materials. This is the first time that Yunfu cement is exported through local customs clearance, which marks that Yunfu green building materials products will further open up a new channel for direct inland navigation to the sea, open up a new path for foreign trade for the local cement industry, alleviate the pressure of overcapacity in domestic sales, and benefit the sustainable development of the industry.
Yunfu is one of the three major cement production bases in Guangdong. In recent years, some enterprises have been trapped in weak domestic sales and limited exports. Yunfu Customs, taking into account the operating conditions of Xijiang Wharf and the particularity of canned cement transportation, has tailored the operation guidelines for cement export to Hong Kong and Macao and the supervision scheme for canned cement export, implemented 24-hour dynamic monitoring of the whole process of canned cement shipment relying on the mode of "online monitoring + spot sampling inspection", and optimized the on-site supervision process of "one enterprise, one policy". Support local shipment, nearby supervision and direct export of goods, and truly realize "direct shipment from factory area, direct shipment from wharf and direct departure from port".
