Zhejiang Cement Association issued the implementation plan to take the lead in starting compliance production in the form of industry self-discipline

Following the enlarged meeting of the president of Zhejiang Cement Association on December 9, 2025, and the signing and issuance of the Proposal for the Production of Zhejiang Cement Industry According to the Record Capacity by Cement Clinker Production Enterprises, on March 6, 2026, with the support of the Provincial Economic and Credit Department, Zhejiang Cement Industry was established. Zhejiang Cement Association issued the Notice of Implementation Plan for Compliance Production of Clinker Production Line in Zhejiang Cement Industry (Trial), which marked that the cement industry in Zhejiang Province officially started compliance production in the form of self-discipline.

Notice requirements, according to the record capacity production is an important national industrial policy, related to the common interests of the industry, but also the common will of the industry. It is hoped that all member units will continue to proceed from the overall situation of the industry, implement the commitment of the proposal, support the work of the industry, and implement the implementation plan as required. Before the provincial clinker on-line monitoring system was completed and put into operation, the association began to count the clinker output of enterprises in April, and did a good job in statistical analysis, spot check and information disclosure. All units are required to be responsible for the accuracy of the figures submitted. At the same time, we will strive for "up-down linkage" and "regional linkage" in accordance with the association's work promotion plan.

Faced with the dual pressures of serious overcapacity and continuous downward market demand, the cement industry in Zhejiang Province has chosen a "self-revolutionary" way to break through. The purpose of this action is to implement the national industrial policy and curb the "involution" disorderly competition in combination with peak staggering production.

On April 9-10, China Cement Network will hold the " 15th China Cement Industry Summit and TOP100 Award Ceremony " in Hangzhou, and the " Cement Economy 50 Forum (C50) " will be held at the same time. The conference specially invited Zhejiang Cement Association to share and exchange with colleagues in the industry in view of promoting compliance production in Zhejiang Province and setting up industry norms.
