On October 23, the National Cement Price Index (CEMPI) closed at 102.52 points, up 2.95% annually and down 0.04% year-on-year. On October 23, the Yangtze River Basin Cement Price Index (YRCEMPI) closed at 94.93 points, up 5.65% from the previous month. This week,
the national cement market as a whole showed the characteristics of "pushing up frequently, landing differentiation, and weak reality". High cost and off-peak production drive enterprises in many places to raise prices intensively, but under the constraints of weak terminal demand and financial pressure, the actual transmission is generally blocked, the national cement price index only slightly rises, and the regional differentiation is significant. From the regional perspective, the market differentiation in North China continues and the demand weakens; the price in Northeast China is stable; the cost in East China promotes the general rise, but the weak demand makes it difficult to land; the atmosphere of pushing up in Central and South China is strong, and the regional differentiation is significant; many places in Southwest China start to reinstate the price, and the weak demand restricts the realization of the price increase; the market in Northwest China is divided and the demand gradually weakens.
In October 23rd, the national clinker price index (CLKPI) closed at 105.87 points, up 4.24%.
