, 2026, the cement grinding system of Jinjia 2 * 1.5 million tons cement grinding station Phase I project of Yaobai International Holdings Uganda Cement Co., Ltd., which was constructed by China Material Construction Co., Ltd., was successfully put into operation, and the first batch of qualified cement was successfully produced and put into storage, which marked that the project formally entered the trial production stage. It will add important achievements to Sinoma's construction and deep cultivation of the East African market.
Uganda Jinja Grinding Station Installation Project is located on the Victoria Lake in Jinja City. During the construction of the project, the project department always anchors the dual core work objectives of "construction + production", strictly follows the principle of "safety first, quality first", and adopts modular construction scheme. With the vigorous coordination and support of the company's leadership and various departments of the headquarters, the project team has carefully organized the construction, scientifically allocated resources, bravely tackled the difficulties, and successively overcome the delays in payment by the owners, the delays in the arrival of materials and equipment, the delays in the entry of personnel, the heavy task of design optimization, the tense construction period, the problems of infectious diseases and the difficulties in hoisting large-scale equipment. It took only about five months to complete the installation task of the whole production line with high quality, and handed in brilliant answers with hard-core construction strength, which won high recognition and unanimous praise from owners, supervisors and other parties.
As a key local building material project in Uganda, the grinding station is planned to produce 3 million tons of cement annually, equipped with the largest cement vertical mill in the world, which will effectively alleviate the shortage of cement market supply in Uganda, continuously promote the upgrading of local building materials industry and economic and social development, and promote the development of local building materials industry. Therefore, it is highly concerned and valued by the Uganda government and the cement in western China.
