Recently, the General Administration of Customs news shows. In September 2026, China exported 2.88 million tons of cement and cement clinker, representing a year-on-year increase of + 188.4%; from January to September, China exported 20.96 million tons of cement and cement clinker, representing a year-on-year increase of + 181.6%.

According to the calculation of 20.96 million tons of export from January to September, the export is equivalent to about 1.9% of the national cement output (about 1.1 billion tons) in the same period, the absolute proportion is not high, but the year-on-year increment is about 13.5 million tons, which is equivalent to hedging about 1.2 percentage points of the decline in domestic demand.
