Cao Hui as General Manager of CITIC Heavy Industries

On June 23, CITIC Heavy Industries announced that Zhang Zhiyong, director and general manager, had applied to resign as director, member of the Strategic and Sustainable Development Committee of the Board of Directors and general manager due to job transfer, and that his resignation would not result in less than a quorum of board members. After Zhang Zhiyong resigned from the above positions, he will no longer hold any position in the company.

According to the work needs, upon the recommendation of CITIC Corporation Limited, the controlling shareholder of the Company, and the qualification review of the nomination committee of the Board, the Board of Directors of the Company agreed to appoint Mr. Tso Fai as the general manager of the Company, with the term of office commencing from the date of approval by the Board of Directors and ending on the expiry date of the term of the sixth session of the Board of Directors of the Company.

Mr. Tso Fai, born in 1971, a Chinese national with no overseas permanent residence, holds a bachelor's degree, a doctor's degree in management and is a senior engineer. Mr. Tso Fai was a director and deputy manager of CITIC Heavy Industry Construction and Installation Company, executive vice president and president of the Engineering Institute of CITIC Heavy Industry Mining Research Institute, assistant to the general manager of CITIC Heavy Industry, a member of the standing committee of the party committee and deputy general manager of CITIC Mechanical and Electrical Manufacturing Company, a member of the standing committee of the party committee and deputy general manager of CITIC Mechanical and Electrical Manufacturing Group Co., Ltd., and a full-time director of CITIC Guoan Industrial Group Co., Ltd.
