Recently, The Water Conservancy and Lake Bureau of Wuxue City, Hubei Province officially approved the supporting mine construction project of the second cement clinker production line construction project (7266t/d) of Wuxue Manufacturing Plant of Huanggang Yadong Cement Co., Ltd. (Limestone for cement in yuanyishan Mining Area, Wuxue City, Hubei Province). The water and soil conservation scheme of dolomite (limestone) mine for building stone is approved to implement the first-class standard of red soil area in the south, with a prevention and control responsibility scope of 121.17 hectares and a total investment of 70.3566 million yuan for water and soil conservation.
The reply requires that the compensation fee for water and soil conservation shall be paid before the commencement of the project, and the water and soil conservation facilities shall be checked and accepted independently before the project is put into operation. The acquisition of this key approval marks another key progress in the early compliance procedures of the project, which provides an important guarantee for the project to be put into operation on schedule.
It is understood that the second cement clinker production line construction project (7266t/d) of Wuxue Manufacturing Plant of Huanggang Yadong Cement Co., Ltd. is a key project of Hubei Province in 2025, with a total investment of 3.25 billion yuan, and a new dry cement clinker production line of 7266t/d with an annual output of 2398000 tons of clinker. The annual output of cement is 3 million tons. The main equipment is a rotary kiln, which adopts advanced six-stage preheater with new dry pre-decomposition firing process outside the kiln, as well as supporting cement grinding, mine raw material base, wharf, 5MW photovoltaic power generation project, public and auxiliary facilities.
According to local official media reports earlier this year, the production line is expected to enter the trial production stage in October 2026.
