On October 9, the ecological environment impact report form of CNNC Yangshan 300 MW Agricultural Photovoltaic Complementary Project (second re-approval) was publicized before approval.
According to the announcement, the project is located in Luohan Village, Shuangshan Village, Chuandong Village, Xiaping Village and Xiaojiang Village, Xiaojiang Town, Yangshan County, Qingyuan City, Guangdong Province, and is constructed by Yangshan China Nuclear Energy Co., Ltd. with an installed capacity of 300 MW . 681818 440Wp monocrystalline silicon PV modules are proposed to be used. A total of 96 3.15 MW AC sub-arrays are set up in
the project. Every 28 PV modules in the array are connected in series to form a PV string, and every 15/16 PV strings are connected to a 196kW string inverter . Every 16 series inverters are connected to a 3150 kV box-type step-up transformer to form a photovoltaic array area, and a new 220kV step-up station is built in the comprehensive management area, and two main transformers with a capacity of 150MVA are installed in the step-up station.
The whole photovoltaic power generation system is mainly composed of photovoltaic array, string inverter, box transformer, grid access system and monitoring system.
It is worth noting that the project is a major change re-approval project.
It is understood that the project was originally located near Luohan Village, Xiaping Village and Waidong Village, Xiaojiang Town, Yangshan County, Qingyuan City. It mainly carried out a new photovoltaic project and supported the construction of a 220 kV booster station. It obtained the EIA approval in December 2020 and the land use filing documents in July 2021. The registered land area is 2524.8 mu, but due to the scattered distribution and low utilization rate of the land submitted for approval , it can not meet the construction demand of 300 MW capacity. In April
2023, the project applied for and approved the establishment of new land for the record, with an area of 5748.135 mu , but the content and scale of the project remained unchanged. In December 2023, the approval of the environmental impact report form of the project (re-approval) was obtained.
However, due to the existence of mines and farms on the registered construction land in 2021 and 2023, most of the land can not be leased , so it is necessary to apply for new photovoltaic array land again. Therefore, the second re-approval plan is to add 2029.4535 mu of new land on the basis of the existing approved projects, and move about 4560 mu of the existing but unused land out of the scope of the registered land, thus reducing the overall scope of land use. The total land area is 5742.3885 mu . The overall site selection of the
project has been adjusted from Luohan Village, Xiaping Village and Waidong Village in Xiaojiang Town to Luohan Village, Shuangshan Village, Chuandong Village, Xiaping Village and Xiaojiang Village in Yangshan County, Qingyuan City, which are divided into five areas. It includes 1 # photovoltaic area (Luohan Village), 2 # photovoltaic area (Shuangshan Village), 3 # photovoltaic area (Chuandong Village), 4 # photovoltaic area (Xiaping Village) and 5 # photovoltaic area (Xiaojiang Village). The booster station is located in 1 # photovoltaic area (Luohan Village). The
installed capacity of the project remains unchanged, the construction location and scale of the booster station remain unchanged, and the total investment of the project is still 1239 million yuan .
