local time, Sinoma Construction Co., Ltd. successfully completed the hoisting operation of the preheater tower, the highest single building in the 1800TPD clinker line renovation project in Portugal. The last lift is the cyclone volute, and the components are lifted smoothly and accurately in place, marking the successful capping of the preheater tower. Joe Pemberton,

the owner's project manager, said that the successful capping of the preheater was a landmark and significant progress in the construction process of the whole renovation project and a fruitful result of the concerted efforts of all parties. The total installation quantity of the preheater steel structure of

the project is more than 1900 tons, the whole is an 8-storey frame steel structure system, the highest point of the equipment is 105 meters, the five-level single-series cyclone is set inside, and the new equipment of the hot plate furnace is introduced, which has extremely high requirements for the site hoisting accuracy, the safety control of high-altitude operation, and the adjustment of the components in place. Since the hoisting of the first column on March 10, 2026, in view of the unfavorable conditions such as narrow site, frequent cross-operation with foreign personnel and strong wind all the year round, the project department has made overall planning, detailed and dynamic coordination, relying on the three-dimensional model to deepen the check, to avoid the structural conflict with the existing tower of the owner in advance, and to complete the demolition of the old tower part in advance, so as to clear the obstacles for the subsequent installation. During the construction process, various tasks such as steel structure and equipment installation are precisely arranged to ensure compact process connection and steady and orderly progress of installation.
