Jilin Institute of China Electric Power Construction and the Sixth Hydropower Bureau won the bid for 596 million yuan project

of Datang Group's "Photovoltaic + Thermoelectric" Composite Demonstration Project falls to the consortium composed of Jilin Electric Power Survey and Design Institute of China Electric Power Construction and the Sixth Bureau of Hydropower, with a quotation of about 596 million yuan. The project uses the existing land area of Baqiao Thermal Power Plant to superimpose photovoltaic, which is a typical sample of "inventory revitalization" type green power expansion of the power system. It has been started in 2023 and is planned to be connected to the grid by the end of 2025 (SiC). It is a pilot demonstration project of photovoltaic + thermoelectric hybrid in Northwest China by Datang.

595.96 million [Basic information of the project] The project is located in the south of Baqiao Thermal Power Plant, Baqiao District, Xi'an City, Shaanxi Province. Photovoltaic power generation is synchronously constructed on the existing land of the thermal power plant, with a total installed capacity of 200 MW (AC side). It corresponds to about 260 MWp on the DC side, with a fixed inclination array layout and an estimated area of about 200 hectares. Invested and constructed by Datang Shaanxi Power Generation Co., Ltd., it has started construction in 2023 and is planned to be connected to the grid by the end of 2025. It is a photovoltaic + thermoelectric hybrid demonstration project promoted by Datang Group in 2024-2025.
