Recently, CSCEC, in

conjunction with China Construction First Engineering Bureau, China Construction Second Engineering Bureau, China Construction Third Engineering Bureau

won the bid for the concession project

of Qingdao section

of Laizhou-Qingdao Expressway. The total estimated investment

of this project is about 15.910 billion yuan

. The starting point of this project is located at the boundary of Pingdu and Laizhou in the north of Xishangluo Village, Jiudian Town, Pingdu City, Shandong Province. It connects the Laizhou section of Laiqing Expressway in the north and ends at the Blue Valley-Jiaodong International Airport Expressway Project under construction. To the south, it passes through the integrated Shuangbu connecting line to Chunyang Road. From north to south, it crosses the four districts (cities) of Pingdu, Laixi, Jimo and Chengyang, and simultaneously constructs three connecting lines of Shuangbu, Jiudian and Rizhuang. The total length of the high-speed main line is 83.12 kilometers.

Laiqing Expressway is a key infrastructure project in the "15th Five-Year Plan" of Shandong Province. After the completion of the project, it will open up the fast communication channels between Pingdu and Laixi and the main urban area of Qingdao and Jiaodong International Airport, shorten the regional commuting distance and improve the traffic efficiency. The Laizhou section of the follow-up project will start construction one after another. After the completion of the whole line, Rongwei Expressway, Shenhai Expressway and other regional trunk road networks will be connected in series to form a fast traffic corridor from Laizhou Bay to Jiaozhou Bay, further shortening the distance between Qingdao and Yantai, and providing important traffic support for the integrated and high-quality development of Jiaodong Economic Circle.
