Recently, Shao Jun, Chairman of China Cement Network, and his delegation visited Henan Building Materials Industry Association and were warmly welcomed by Wang Aizhen, Vice President of the Association. The two sides had in-depth exchanges on the development situation and policy recommendations of Henan cement industry.

Wang Aizhen said that the current structural contradiction between supply and demand in Henan cement industry is prominent. She pointed out that in the short term, the policy of peak staggering production is still an decisive measure to stabilize the operation of the industry and must continue to be implemented, while the role of other regulatory policies remains to be further observed.

Wang Aizhen further emphasized that the building materials industry serves a wide range of related industries, involving a large number of jobs and family livelihoods, and all parties in the industry should work together to voice and form a joint force. She called on the national level to attach great importance to the development of the cement industry, must adhere to the path of high-quality development, and resolutely put an end to the impact of low-price and inferior products on the market and the destruction of the industry ecology. Wang Aizhen suggested that in the short term, all parts of the country should adhere to peak staggering production, so as to achieve a national chess game.

Both sides agreed that in the period of deep adjustment of the industry, strengthening policy guidance, promoting industry self-discipline and promoting regional coordination are the key paths for the industry to get out of the predicament.
