On February 9, the 2026 Safety and Environmental Protection Work Conference of China Building Materials Group was held in Beijing. The meeting thoroughly studied and implemented General Secretary Xi Jinping's important exposition on safety production and Xi Jinping's ecological civilization thought, comprehensively summarized the safety and environmental protection work of the Group in 2025, and deployed the key work of safety and environmental protection of the Group in 2026. Chang Zhangli, Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee and General Manager of the Group, made a speech entitled "Anchoring the" 15th Five-Year Plan "target, condensing the consensus on safety and environmental protection, and writing a new chapter of the Group's development with practical work". Wang Yumeng, member of the Standing Committee of the Party Committee and Deputy General Manager of the Group, presided over the meeting and conveyed the spirit of the video conference on safety production of central enterprises on January 29.
Chang Zhangli emphasized that, first, we should have a clear understanding of the grim situation faced by the Group's safety and environmental protection work, draw inferences from one instance and conduct self-examination, rectify the problems with the courage of the blade inward, build a solid foundation with the tenacity of long-term success, tighten the string of safety and environmental protection, and never relax. Secondly, we should accurately grasp the overall requirements of the Group's safety production and ecological environmental protection work during the "15th Five-Year Plan" period, and do a good job in the safety and environmental protection work under the new situation. The core is to focus on forging the three abilities of full staff performance, scientific and technological support, and penetrating supervision. Thirdly, we should continue to strengthen the overall promotion and responsibility implementation of the Group's safety and environmental protection work, strengthen the responsibility, build a strong line of defense, spare no effort to do a good job in safety production, take various measures simultaneously, strictly manage and control, and continue to promote the ecological and environmental protection work.
The meeting clarified the general idea of safety and environmental protection work in 2026 and deployed key tasks: first, to fight the final battle of the three-year action to tackle the root causes, second, to further promote the normalization and institutionalization of assessment and inspection, third, to continuously promote the construction and application of intelligent safety system, fourth, to take various measures to pay close attention to mine safety production, and fifth, to vigorously build enterprise safety and environmental protection culture. The sixth is to systematically strengthen overseas safety management, the seventh is to lay a solid foundation for green development, the eighth is to strengthen the supervision and guidance of ecological environmental protection, the ninth is to continuously optimize the energy structure, and the tenth is to promote the transformation of green and low-carbon development.
