Haichen Energy Storage cooperates with KNESS Group to jointly develop the long-term energy storage market in Eastern Europe, with the initial project scale reaching 2GWh.

Recently, Haichen Energy Storage and KNESS Group, an international provider of renewable energy and energy solutions, formally signed a strategic cooperation framework agreement in Warsaw, Poland. According to the agreement, the two sides will take the Ukrainian market as the core and carry out in-depth cooperation in the next two years to promote the landing of energy storage projects with a total scale of 2 GWh. This cooperation covers 6.25 MWh, 5 MWh and other energy storage system products with different durations, of which the first batch of about 400 MWh products is scheduled to be delivered in the first quarter of 2026.

Haichen Energy Storage and KNESS Group signed the 2GWh Energy Storage Project Framework Agreement

, which is a further deepening of the cooperation between the two sides on the basis of previous projects. During the exchange, the two sides systematically reviewed the existing cooperation achievements, and fully communicated on the project planning, technical route and delivery guarantee of Ukraine's energy storage market in the next two years, laying the foundation for the subsequent large-scale landing.

In recent years, driven by multiple factors such as energy transformation , power supply security and grid resilience improvement in Europe , the distribution of new energy in Eastern Europe has continued to accelerate. With the rapid increase of the proportion of renewable energy installed, the demand of power system for long-term energy storage in peak shaving and valley filling , power grid regulation, system stability and emergency support has become increasingly prominent. In addition, the local climate conditions are diverse and the winter load fluctuates significantly, which also puts forward higher requirements for the reliability, environmental adaptability and long-term operation ability of the energy storage system. In

this exchange, Haichen Energy Storage focused on the performance, manufacturing capacity and global project delivery experience of Power 6.25 MWh 2-4 hours energy storage system. The system has the comprehensive advantages of high integration, high energy density, high security, excellent system efficiency and full life cycle economy, which can effectively match the needs of new energy grid connection, power regulation and long-term energy storage in Eastern Europe, and provide support for the stable operation of the power grid. Sam, sales director

of Haichen Energy Storage, said: Ukraine is at a critical stage of energy structure transformation, and the importance of energy storage, especially long-term energy storage, has become increasingly prominent, and has become a "new infrastructure" to support a high proportion of new energy consumption and enhance the power reserve capacity of the power system. KNESS Group has extensive experience in local energy project development, power system operation and localization services. Haichen Energy Storage will work with KNESS to provide more reliable and efficient energy storage solutions for regional markets and jointly promote the process of energy transformation, relying on the full chain capabilities from battery core to system integration, global delivery and after-sales service. "The technical strength and engineering practice capabilities of Haichen Energy Storage in the field of long-term energy storage are impressive," said Andrei Sizhniak, the first deputy general manager

of KNESS Group. This strategic cooperation is not only a recognition of the past achievements of both sides, but also an important layout for the future market. We look forward to deepening cooperation with Haichen Energy Storage, accelerating the implementation of energy storage projects in Ukraine, and contributing to the security, stability and sustainable development of regional power systems.

According to the plan, the two sides will further strengthen the collaboration in project development, system integration and delivery implementation, and continue to promote the large-scale application of long-term energy storage solutions in the Ukrainian market. To build a safer, efficient and green energy system in Eastern Europe to provide lasting help.
