Solar Energy intends to acquire 100% equity of Jinhua Fengling for 527 million yuan to rapidly expand the scale of photovoltaic installation, increase revenue and enhance the status of the industry.

On February 11, Solar Energy announced that China Energy Conservation Solar Energy Technology Co., Ltd., a wholly-owned subsidiary of the company, acquired 100% of Jinhua Fengling New Energy Development Co., Ltd. The purchase price is 527 million yuan .

It is reported that Jinhua Fengling was established on January 9, 2024, and currently holds Jinhua Fengling New Energy Development Co., Ltd. 600 MW Agricultural Complementary Photovoltaic Power Generation (Jindong yuandong) Project (hereinafter referred to as Jinhua Project). The registered construction scale of Jinhua Project is 600 MW on AC side, and the actual construction scale is 710 MW on DC side and 600 MW on AC side, which will be connected to the grid on May 25, 2025.

Solar energy said that the Jinhua project is the largest single installed capacity project acquired by the company, through the acquisition of 100% equity in Jinhua Fengling, it can acquire high-quality photovoltaic power generation assets held by Jinhua Fengling, which can rapidly expand the company's installed capacity and bring new benefits. It is of strategic significance to enhance the company's position and influence in the solar photovoltaic power generation industry.
