On September 24, Zhengzhou issued the Plan of Strengthening Measures for Air Pollution Prevention and Control in Autumn and Winter in Zhengzhou. The Plan also mentions that from November 1, cement enterprises that have not completed the public announcement of ultra-low emission transformation and brick and tile kiln enterprises that have not completed the integration and creation of A will stop production and rectify; refractory enterprises and lime kiln enterprises will be suspended according to the requirements of performance classification, and the suspended enterprises will stop using heavy cargo vehicles (including gas) at the same time. In terms of
transportation, the Notice on Urban Road Traffic Management Measures (Zheng Huanwen [2021] 41) was revised to amend the original provisions of "banning diesel trucks within the Fourth Ring Road from three countries and below, and banning diesel trucks within the Fourth Ring Road from four countries and below during the emergency warning period of heavily polluted weather" to "banning diesel trucks within the Fourth Ring Road from four countries and below, and banning diesel trucks within the Fourth Ring Road from four countries and below". During the emergency warning period of heavy pollution weather, diesel trucks with five or less countries are prohibited within the Third Ring Road.
