An enterprise in Jiangxi was fined nearly 25,000 yuan for failing to pass the sampling inspection of cement packaging bags!

Jiangxi Yuying Cement Co., Ltd. was fined 24,750 yuan for selling "cement packaging bags" that did not meet the national standards, according to an administrative penalty information released by the Market Supervision and Administration Bureau of Yushan County,

Jiangxi Province (No.2024).

After investigation, the company is located in Shipai Village, Baiyun Town, Yushan County, and holds a valid production license (No.: (Gan) XK08-001-11006), which covers general cement 42.5 (grinding station) and is valid until June 21, 2026. On August 15, 2024, local market supervisors and law enforcement officers sampled the cement bags used by the company and sent them to Shangrao Inspection and Certification Institute for testing. On November 6 of the same year, the inspection report (No.: JLHW0651-2024) confirmed that the product did not meet the standard requirements of GB/T 9774-2020 Cement Packaging Bag, and was judged to be unqualified. The production date of this

batch of problematic packaging bags is September 28, 2024, totaling 15,000 pieces, the purchase unit price is 1.1 yuan/piece, and the total value is 16,500 yuan. The investigation showed that all the related products had been sold and could not be recovered, and no illegal income had been generated. After receiving the inspection report, the market supervision department ordered the company to stop selling according to law on the same day, and then formally filed the case on November 22. During the investigation of the

case, Jiangxi Yuying Cement Co., Ltd. did not raise any objection to the inspection results, and in the subsequent notification procedure, it did not make a statement or apply for a hearing, which was regarded as a waiver of relevant rights. In accordance with the provisions of Article 32 and Article 50 of the Product Quality Law of the People's Republic of China, the law enforcement department determined that its behavior belonged to "passing off substandard products as qualified products". In view of the fact that the products had been sold out, the law enforcement department ordered it to make corrections and imposed an administrative penalty of 24,750 yuan. The quality of

cement packaging bags is directly related to the storage, transportation safety and final use performance of cement products. This punishment is not only a specific punishment for the enterprises involved, but also a clear warning to the whole industry: production enterprises must strictly abide by product quality regulations, improve the internal quality control system, strictly prevent substandard products from entering the market, and jointly maintain a healthy and orderly development environment for the industry.
