On May 31, the first cross-provincial "thousand-mile light boat" route (Wanzhou-Zigui) in Wanzhou, Chongqing, was officially opened and operated, adding a new and efficient channel for water transport logistics in Chongqing and Hubei.

The "Qianli Light Boat" route is a brand of multimodal freight liner in the upper reaches of the Yangtze River built by Chongqing relying on the high-grade waterway in the Three Gorges Reservoir Area. The "Wanzhou-Zigui" thousand-mile canoe route is initially planned to run once a week, forming a two-way convective transport pattern.
