Maxeon also initiated interim injunction proceedings against the same patent in the District Court of The Hague, the Netherlands; It was not until May 2024 that the court rejected Maxeon's application for an interim injunction, which the latter then appealed.

Then in June 2024, Maxeon added another lawsuit, accusing Aixu shareholders of infringing another patent EP3065184B1 in the European Unified Patent Court (UPC) .

By May 2025, Maxeon announced that it would not proceed with the appeal case in the Netherlands. However, its infringement cases with Aixu shares in Germany and UPC continue .

It is understood that the patent dispute between Maxeon and Aixu in UPC was heard on December 17, 2025. The original plan was to announce the verdict around the end of January 2026, but it was postponed twice.

First, on January 23, 2026, the court issued an emergency order to postpone the reading of the judgment to 8:45 a.m. on February 4, 2026 in Court B306; Then, at the request of Maxeon and with the consent of Aixu, the reading of the judgment was postponed again to 8:45 a.m. on February 11, at the same place.
