On September 24, the East China Cement Price Index rose 9.84 points from the previous trading day, closing at 272.16 points, an increase of 3.75%, second only to the Yangtze River (5.23%). It is about 1.8 times the increase of the national cement price index (2.03%). In terms of

price, since September 24, the price of cement in East China has been pushed up by the high cost of raw materials and fuels, the strong demand of enterprises to repair profits and the acceleration of construction in peak season. Leading enterprises in Wuxi and Changzhou
in Jiangsu notified an increase of 20 yuan/ton, the price index of P.O42.5 cement in Jiangsu increased by 3.82%, the reference average price of bulk in 5 cities increased by 3% -6%,
the reference average price of bulk in 11 cities in Zhejiang increased by 3% -8%, and the index in Zhejiang increased by 9.18%;
Shanghai, Jiangxi, Nanchang and Jiujiang simultaneously increased by 20 yuan/ton, with the two indices rising by 7.91% and 5.17% respectively.
In the short term, the price of thermal coal has fallen slightly, but it is still at a high level in the past two years. The cost support of clinker is solid, and the demand in the peak season is warming up. The price of cement in East China still has upward momentum.
