Wanwei Group visited Wuhu Conch Cement

Recently, Sun Xianwu, Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee and Deputy General Manager of Wanwei Group Company, led a group of people into Wuhu Conch Cement Co., Ltd. to visit and investigate the construction of green manufacturing, port logistics and intelligent factories, and to learn advanced practices and experiences on the spot.

In the enterprise exhibition hall, the researchers listened in detail to the introduction of the development of Wuhu Conch Cement. The company is one of the 10 million-ton cement clinker bases of Conch Group along the Yangtze River, and its industry spans cement manufacturing, aggregate commercial concrete, solid hazardous waste disposal and new energy. In front of the exhibition board of the intelligent chemical plant, we have a detailed understanding of the practical results of the enterprise's use of artificial intelligence, 5G, cloud data, Internet of Things and other new generation of information technology to build the whole process of intelligent manufacturing execution system and industrial big data platform. From digital intelligent mine, driverless mine car, to optimal control system integrating mechanism and big data, deep learning soft measurement system, to intelligent inspection of equipment life cycle, Wuhu Conch and well-known universities jointly tackle key problems, realizing unmanned mining, intelligent production control, automation of quality detection and minimization of energy consumption.

Researchers came to the riverside wharf on the spot, and the enterprise directly connected seven berths to the riverside wharf through four belt corridors, with an annual throughput of 20 million tons. Bulk materials such as clinker, cement, aggregate and coal were transported through closed belts and directly transported by waterway, which not only greatly reduced logistics costs, but also significantly reduced road dust and carbon emissions.
