China Cement Network, on September 24, the Yangtze River Cement Price Index rose 13.26 points from the previous trading day, closing at 266.64 points, an increase of 5.23%, which was the largest increase in the country on that day. It is about 2.6 times the increase of the national cement price index (2.03%), and also higher than that of East China (3.75%) and Central South China (1.55%). In terms of

price, since September 24, the price of cement in the Yangtze River Basin has been pushed up again by the high cost of raw materials and fuels, the strong demand of enterprises to repair profits and the acceleration of construction progress due to better weather. The leading enterprises in Wuhan and Huangshi in Hubei notified an increase of 30 yuan/ton, and the price index of P.O42.5 cement in Hubei increased by 7.32% on the same day; Yueyang in Hunan increased by 30 yuan/ton, and the Zhangjiajie increased by 10 yuan/ton; Wuxi, Changzhou and Shanghai in Jiangsu, Nanchang and Jiujiang in Jiangxi increased by 20 yuan/ton.
In the short term, although the price of thermal coal has fallen slightly, it is still at a high level in the past two years, the cost support of clinker is solid, the demand for construction in the peak season is warming up, and the price of cement in the Yangtze River Basin still has upward momentum; However, this round of one-day push up is relatively large, and the risk of landing differentiation is enlarged synchronously. If the demand is insufficient, some markets will give back after the current rise, and it is expected that the short-term strong operation will stabilize after the rise.
