Each clinker production line in Sichuan Province was shut down for "60 + X" days in the first quarter

Recently, Sichuan Cement Association issued the "Notice on Staggered Peak Production in the First Quarter of 2026".

The notice requires that in the first quarter of 2026, the number of days of kiln shutdown for each clinker production line is "60 + X" days. The kiln was shut down for 16 days in January and 44 days in February and March (the specific shutdown plan for February and March is arranged by the enterprise itself).

In the first quarter, "60 days" is the baseline task, and "X days" will be determined by the provincial cement association in the middle and later period of the first quarter, depending on the production and marketing inventory of enterprises in the province, market supply and demand and other factors, to organize a meeting to determine whether additional days are needed, and separately below. By the end of

2025, enterprises that still owe some days of suspension are required to make up all of them in the first quarter of 2026. Enterprises are encouraged to stop as far as possible when carrying out the monthly off-peak production tasks. According to the overall requirements of the Provincial Cement Association and the actual situation of the region, the Cement Industry Association of Liangshan Prefecture will study and implement the peak-staggering production tasks of enterprises

in Liangshan Prefecture, and report the plan to the Provincial Cement Association for the record, requiring enterprises to actively respond to heavy pollution weather, encourage early peak-staggering and multi-peak-staggering, and actively contribute to the industry and society. Implement monthly settlement and quarterly clearing for the completion result

of off-peak production task. Check and settle monthly according to the online monitoring data of the competent department of ecological environment. The overfulfilled task of the current month can be used to offset the plan of the next month, and the overdue plan of the current month must be made up in the next month. Carry out one-time liquidation of the off-peak production of the quarter every quarter, and the completion of the off-peak production task can span months but not seasons.
