On June 10, the Ecological Environment Branch of Zongyang County, Tongling City, issued a letter on the approval of the environmental impact report form of Huanggongshan Tuff Mine, Yanzhou Sinoma Construction Co., Ltd., with an annual output of 3 million tons of high-quality machine-made sand aggregate processing project. The reply to the letter of approval is as follows:
The project is located in Xintang Village, Yutan Town, Zongyang County, Tongling City, Anhui Province. The project is the expansion project of the supporting high-quality machine-made aggregate processing project of Huanggongshan Tuff Mine of Yanzhou Sinoma Construction Co., Ltd. (Project Environmental Assessment Reply No.: Tong Huan (Zong) Shen [2023] No.31, September 5, 2023). The project unit plans to invest 102 million yuan, including 5.1 million yuan for environmental protection, to expand the "Huanggongshan Tuff Mine with an annual output of 3 million tons of high-quality machine-made sand aggregate processing project" in Xintang Village, Yutan Town, Zongyang County, Tongling City, Anhui Province. The project meets the management and control requirements of "three lines and one single" ecological environment zoning in Tongling City. This project has been filed with the Development and Reform Commission of Zongyang County (project code: 2502-340722-04-01-313965).
According to the Law of the People's Republic of China on Environmental Impact Assessment and the Regulations on Environmental Protection Management of Construction Projects, the adverse environmental impact can be effectively mitigated and controlled after earnestly implementing the pollution prevention, ecological protection and environmental risk prevention measures proposed in the Report Form. Therefore, our Bureau agrees with the nature, scale and location of the construction listed in the Report Form and the environmental protection countermeasures to be taken.
