According to the big data platform of China Cement Network, from February 10, 2025 to February 16, 2025, the average opening rate of kilns in Hebei Province was 35.81%, and the average shutdown time of 75 cement kilns in the province was 4.49 days.
Recently, the Cement Branch of Hebei Building Materials Industry Association organized an expanded meeting of directors and a conference on steady growth, efficiency and high-quality development in Shijiazhuang. It was pointed out at the meeting that in 2024, the cement industry in Hebei Province adhered to the policy of peak staggering production, actively carried out a series of industry self-discipline activities, and made great achievements in reducing losses and increasing efficiency, with industry profits reduced by 65% year on year. In 2025, we should unswervingly continue to promote the work of peak staggering production to a rigid and precise direction. Wang Zhigang, chairman of the Cement Branch, suggested that enterprises strictly implement the peak-staggering production plan in the heating season, and implement "open two stop one" in the first half of the non-heating season and "open one stop one" in the second half of the year, so as to regulate the supply-demand relationship, stabilize and continuously improve the industry efficiency.
In order to continuously improve the efficiency of the industry, the follow-up cement enterprises in Hebei Province are likely to follow the peak staggering production plan more firmly and strictly on the existing basis. Kiln shutdown time will not only be maintained in a relatively long and stable range, but also be regulated in a more refined and scientific way according to different seasons and production stages, so as to accurately balance market supply and demand.
