In order to deeply understand the economic operation situation of cement industry, scientifically deploy peak staggering production, strengthen capacity management and carbon emission control, on June 5, 2025, Gansu Building Materials Industry Association organized a symposium on economic operation of key cement enterprises in Yuzhong County, Lanzhou City.
Gansu Qilianshan Cement Group Co., Ltd., Gansu Jinglan Cement Co., Ltd., Sinoma Gansu Cement Co., Ltd., Lanzhou Hongshi Cement Co., Ltd., Linxia Conch Cement Co., Ltd., Baiyin Shoulushan Cement Co., Ltd., Gansu Sanyi Cement Co., Ltd., Gansu Yonggu Special Cement Co., Ltd., Lanzhou Licorice Environmental Protection Building Materials Co., Ltd. and other key cement enterprises and some sales managers attended the meeting. Luo Hongji, Vice President of
the Provincial Building Materials Industry Association, Secretary of the Party Committee and President of Qilian Mountain Group, attended the meeting and made a speech. Vice President and Secretary-General Wang Yantian presided over the meeting.
At the meeting, the association gave a comprehensive briefing and analysis on the economic operation of the industry and the implementation of the second phase of peak staggering production in 2025, and analyzed the current market situation and challenges faced by the cement industry in our province with detailed data. The implementation of the second phase of peak staggering production in 2025 and the effect of peak staggering production were reported and summarized.
Subsequently, the main leaders of the participating enterprises reported and exchanged the implementation of peak staggering, output, inventory, shipment, price and other business conditions in turn. At the same time, combined with market supply and demand, policy guidance and other factors, they deeply analyzed the current market situation and the problems existing in the cement industry in our province, and put forward opinions and suggestions to deal with the current challenges.
The meeting also discussed the work of peak staggering in the third phase of 2025, and put forward a number of constructive suggestions from the aspects of peak staggering time arrangement, peak staggering work requirements, differentiated treatment methods and regional coordination. According to the relevant market research report, in order to balance the relationship between supply and demand in the market, achieve the goal of steady growth of benefits, and promote the green, low-carbon and sustainable development of the industry, the meeting held that on the basis of the plan at the beginning of this year, peak staggering production should be further strengthened. The meeting made it clear that the third stage of peak staggering began on June 20 and that between July 31, enterprises would implement peak staggering and stop kilns for 25 days.
The meeting also carried out publicity and discussion on capacity management and carbon emission quotas, and put forward the next step for enterprises and industries to carry out work.
