In fact, off-peak production has become a normal measure in Fujian cement industry. At the previous symposium on high-quality development of cement industry in Fujian Province, it was emphasized that all cement clinker production lines in Fujian Province must implement peak staggering production. In 2024, with effective measures such as peak-staggering production and supply-demand docking, Fujian cement market has achieved a dynamic balance between supply and demand, prices have gradually risen, and industry efficiency has improved significantly, which has been fully affirmed. The meeting also called on enterprises to enhance communication and strengthen coordination to jointly promote the high-quality development of the industry.

Based on the current good implementation of peak staggering and kiln shutdown, some leading cement enterprises in the province plan to raise prices. According to feedback from local enterprises to China Cement Network, it is planned to raise the price of bulk cement in the whole province by 20 yuan/ton on June 12.
