On June 6, 2025, the theme event of "60 Green Building Materials Day" was held in Jining Conch Cement Co., Ltd. The theme of this activity is: 60 Intelligent Manufacturing and Green Building for the Future.
Sixty Green Building Materials Day was jointly initiated by China Building Materials Federation, China Building Materials Group, Jinyu Group, Conch Group, Jinjing (Group) and Huaxin Cement to comprehensively implement the new development concept of innovation, coordination, green, open and sharing. It is the original intention and responsibility of the co-sponsors of "60 Green Building Materials Day" to actively respond to the call of carbon neutralization, carry out the development goal of "being suitable for industry and benefiting mankind" in the building materials industry, convey to the society the determination of green development of the building materials industry and the idea of carbon reduction, and let the majority of building materials people better understand and love their own industry.
In the new era, Conch Group, with the goal of creating a world-class enterprise, has accelerated the construction of a new high-quality development model of "one base and five industries" based on cement manufacturing, with new energy, new materials, environmental protection industry, digital economy and modern service trade promoting each other, which has begun to take shape. By the end of 2024, the main cement industry has 274 million tons of clinker production capacity, 403 million tons of cement production capacity, 163 million tons of aggregate production capacity and 47.6 million cubic meters of commercial mixing production capacity, and its industrial scale, profitability and technical level are in the forefront of the world.
Jining Conch Cement is a wholly-owned subsidiary of Conch Group, which was established in June 2009 and has a new dry cement line with a daily output of 4500 tons. 9MW waste heat power generation, 16.96MW photovoltaic power generation, 11.5MW wind power generation, 9MW garbage generating units and 9MW biomass gasification supplementary heat energy projects have been successively built in the park, with an annual power generation capacity of 165 million degrees, which is the first "zero external power purchase" plant in the cement industry. In March
2023, Jining Conch Zero Power Purchase Intelligent Energy Demonstration Park was awarded "the seventh batch of demonstration parks of power demand side management in the national industrial field" by the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology. In November 2023, Jining Conch Zero Power Purchase Intelligent Energy Demonstration Park won the first prize of "Shandong Province Integrated Intelligent Energy Service Project Innovation and Creative Labor Competition". In January 2024, the smart microgrid case of Jining Conch Cement Co., Ltd. with zero external power purchase was selected into the list of typical application scenarios and cases of industrial green microgrid of the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology. In November 2024, Jining Conch Zero Power Purchase Intelligent Energy Demonstration Park was selected as a typical case list of green and low-carbon energy transformation in Shandong Province.
Waste heat power generation: In 2010, about 50 million yuan was invested in the construction of 9MW waste heat generating units during the construction of cement kilns. The project uses the low-temperature waste gas recovery technology of cement kilns to generate 46.6 million degrees of electricity annually, which can save about 5727 tons of standard coal and reduce carbon dioxide emissions by about 36,600 tons.
Photovoltaic power generation: From 2018 to 2024, about 65 million yuan will be invested in three phases to build a 16.96 MW photovoltaic power station. The first phase of the project will use the company's spare land and lake surface, the second phase will use the non-working surface of the mine, and the third phase will use the building roof and other areas of about 110,000 m2, with an annual power generation of about 20 million degrees. It can save about 2458 tons of standard coal and reduce carbon dioxide emissions by about 15700 tons.
Wind power generation: In 2011, RMB 30 million will be invested to build 1.5MW wind power generation, with an annual power generation capacity of 1.5 million kwh. According to the power consumption of the park, a 2x5 MW wind power supporting 10 MW/20 MWh energy storage project will be built, with an annual green power generation capacity of about 19 million kwh.
Domestic waste power generation: In 2018, the Company will invest 180 million yuan to build a 9 MW domestic waste power generation project in the plant area, with an annual disposal of 140,000 tons of domestic waste, an annual power generation of about 50 million degrees, a saving of about 6,145 tons of standard coal and a reduction of about 39,200 tons of carbon dioxide emissions.
Biomass gasification to supplement thermal energy for power generation: In 2022, RMB 100 million will be invested to build 6 sets of 10 t/H biomass gasifiers and 2 sets of 25 t/H low-temperature boilers for electricity-carbon cogeneration project, with an annual power generation of about 28 million kwh, an annual output of 12,000 tons of carbonized rice husk, an annual saving of about 3,441 tons of standard coal and a reduction of about 21,900 tons of carbon dioxide emissions.
The load balance control and dispatching system integrates waste heat power generation, biomass power generation, photovoltaic power generation, wind power generation and garbage power generation to realize the multi-interaction mode of source-network-load-storage coordination, and ultimately realize the balance of the overall power generation, supply and utilization system, so as to achieve the goal of zero external power purchase in the park.
