On September 24, CCTV News Channel's "Live News Room" column reported on the "China Carbon Market Conference 2025", focusing on the achievements of Tangshan Cement Enterprise, the first cement enterprise in China to complete the whole process of ultra-low emission transformation.
In Tangshan, Hebei Province, the first cement enterprise in China to complete the transformation of ultra-low emission in the whole process, industrial wastes such as waste rubber and textile waste are sent to high-temperature kilns through special pipelines to replace traditional coal through scientific proportioning, while industrial solid wastes such as fly ash and desulfurized gypsum are converted into raw materials for production. This system of "eating waste and spitting green" can absorb more than 150000 tons of solid waste fuel every year. Guo Junyi, Director of Production and Operation Department
of Jinyu Jidong Cement Tangshan Branch, said that every ton of solid waste alternative fuel can reduce about 1.7 tons of carbon dioxide emissions. Every year, more than 150000 tons of solid waste fuel are replaced and 300000 tons of carbon dioxide are reduced, which is equivalent to reducing the annual carbon emissions of 100000 family cars.
