On September 26, the Cement Branch of Hebei Building Materials Industry Association organized a special meeting in Shijiazhuang to further publicize and study the Work Program for Steady Growth of Building Materials Industry (2025-2026) issued jointly by the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology and other six ministries. Liu Yu, Vice President of China Cement Association, Secretary of the Party Committee and Chairman of BBMG Jidong Cement Group, Li Shanshan, Secretary-General of the Provincial Building Materials Association, Wang Zhensheng, President of the Cement Branch, Cai Jinshan, Executive Vice President, and representatives of major cement enterprises in the province, totaling more than 30 participants, were invited to attend the meeting. The meeting was chaired by Niu Yafei, Executive Vice President and Secretary-General of Cement Branch. During the
meeting, the delegates systematically studied and thoroughly discussed the Work Programme. In close connection with the actual situation faced by the cement industry, we have conducted Frank exchanges and careful analysis around the outstanding problems and bottlenecks in the development. After a heated discussion, the participants agreed that with the continuous landing and deepening of relevant national policies on carbon emissions, capacity and output regulation, the whole industry must further enhance its understanding and promote peak staggering production in a more efficient, scientific, innovative and in-depth way, which is not only the implementation of national policy guidance. It is also an decisive measure to promote the green low-carbon transformation of the industry and achieve sustainable and high-quality development. In his concluding remarks,
Liu Yu pointed out that the relevant departments of the state jointly promulgated the Work Program, which reflects the great importance and guidance norms for the healthy development of the building materials industry. Faced with the new situation and new requirements, enterprises in the industry should deeply understand the policy spirit and actively cooperate with the state in deepening the management of the building materials industry. In particular, he stressed that it is essential to adhere to and deepen the work of peak staggering production. This collective study of the Work Program has clarified the train of thought and pointed out the direction for the key work of the cement industry in Hebei Province in the next stage. The whole industry should build consensus and work together to promote the implementation of various measures to stabilize growth and help the industry go steadily and far.
At the meeting, the spirit of the seminar on "Carbon Reduction, Consumption Reduction and Steady Growth" in Shanxi, Hebei, Shandong and Henan was also highlighted.
The conference unified ideas, clarified the path, and laid a solid foundation for the cement industry in Hebei Province to actively respond to challenges, implement the national steady growth plan, and promote industrial optimization and upgrading.
