on June 3, with the sound of the siren, Huaxin's first self-owned international cargo ship officially sailed from Zhangjiagang Huada Wharf in Jiangsu Province, China, to Mozambique, marking a solid step forward in Huaxin's international logistics business and a vivid practice of Huaxin's accelerated international development.
The ship is a bulk carrier, originally manufactured by Sanyo Shipyard in Japan, with a gross tonnage of 2646 tons, a deadweight of 3800 tons and an actual cargo tonnage of 3500 tons. After the purchase of Huaxin, the overall condition of the ship is better after the overall renovation of the hull and the deep maintenance of the main and auxiliary equipment, cranes, hatch covers and other major equipment. The first transportation is Huaxin's production equipment and accessories, powder tank semi-trailer, packaging machine, plate bending machine, conveyor, rotary valve, engineering steel and foam board, etc., about 2352 cubic meters, which will be used to upgrade the Mozambique plant.
Huaxin named the freighter "NOVA FORTUNA" ", implying that Huaxin will start a new journey in Africa and reap good luck. The freighter will be mainly used for foreign trade cement transportation from Huaxin Mozambique factory to Madagascar, Comoros, Mauritius, Reunion and other East African island countries. According to the preliminary investigation, there is no stable route and suitable ship type for this route. Huaxin integrated the wharf water depth and operation conditions of relevant countries, and purchased cargo ships to assist the Mozambique factory to expand its sales scope. Huaxin will expand the African market by purchasing more ships, trains, automobiles and other means of transport to provide more diversified and high-quality logistics services.
At the inaugural ceremony, Huaxin Vice President Tang Jun attended and delivered a speech. He said that Huaxin has taken overseas multi-business development as an important development strategy, covering 18 countries around the world, and has built and operated more than 40 building materials factories in 13 countries overseas, all of which have achieved good economic and social benefits. With the vigorous development of overseas business, Huaxin will continue to accelerate the construction of international trade logistics system, build a full-link digital platform covering shipping, warehousing and distribution, realize the rapid response of transnational supply chain through the netwo rk linkage of "factory + port + transportation" resources, and effectively improve the efficiency of traditional logistics to reduce the cost of international trade. Help Huaxin to open up a larger overseas market and accelerate the construction of the world's leading multinational building materials group.
