On May 28, the construction of the second phase of the 300000 kilowatt photovoltaic power station project in Jinchuan County, Aba Prefecture, Sichuan Province, was officially started, with a total investment of 1.4 billion yuan . It is expected to be put into operation in December 2025.
It is reported that Gasidu Phase II Photovoltaic Power Station is located in Jinchuan County, Aba Prefecture, Sichuan Province, with an average altitude of 4000 meters, covering an area of more than 7000 mu, and plans to build 300000 kilowatt photovoltaic field and supporting energy storage system . The 200,000 kilowatt photovoltaic power station in the first phase of the project has been put into full operation in June 2024. After the completion of the second phase of the project, the annual power generation will reach 500 million kilowatt-hours, which can meet the annual electricity demand of 250,000 households and provide a solid guarantee for regional energy supply. After the completion of the
project, the annual average carbon dioxide emission can be reduced by 320,000 tons, the annual output value of the project operation period is about 130 million yuan, the contribution of local tax revenue is about 17 million yuan, and 800 jobs are expected to be provided during the construction period.
