From September 23 to 24, the 14th China Cement Energy Conservation and Environmental Protection Technology Exchange Conference and the 6th Intelligent Summit Forum were held in Zibo, Shandong Province.
At the meeting, Fan Qisheng, Dean of Low Carbon Research Institute of China Building Materials Industry Planning Research Institute, brought the Report on the Latest Achievements of Oxygen-enriched Combustion Technology in Industrial Kilns. Fan Qisheng said that oxygen-enriched combustion is an efficient and energy-saving combustion technology. The technology can reduce the fuel ignition temperature, accelerate the combustion rate, promote complete combustion, improve the flame temperature, improve the burnout rate, reduce the amount of smoke and reduce the excess air coefficient. The comparison before and after the operation of the second-line rotary kiln oxygen-enriched combustion project in
a cement plant shows that the coal saving amount of the burning system is 14.1 t/h-13.1t/H = 1.0t/H under the conditions of the same kiln feeding amount and similar raw meal ingredients. Coal saving rate is 7.09%.
Fan Qisheng said that due to the lack of industry standards and design specifications for the application of oxygen-enriched combustion technology in the cement industry. At present, CFD numerical simulation technology is an effective means (the only one) to determine the oxygen consumption scheme and oxygen production scheme.
