Lin Jiayi said that in terms of national conditions, most countries are more conservative in their carbon reduction plans for the cement industry, while Europe is more aggressive in its goals. Japan's short-term carbon reduction target is extremely conservative, with 156% of the target achieved in 2024, while the EU's carbon reduction target is relatively aggressive, with about 35% of the short-term target achieved in 2024.

From the point of view of enterprises, the total carbon emissions of cement enterprises show a downward trend in most enterprises, and Chaoke Cement still has a significant growth. Overseas enterprises contribute more to the substitution of raw materials and fuels, and Huaxin Cement takes the lead in energy consumption. In addition, net zero carbon cement products account for more than 60% of the total sales of Cemex cement.
