From September 23 to 24, the 14th China Cement Energy Conservation and Environmental Protection Technology Exchange Conference and the 6th Intelligent Summit Forum were held in Zibo, Shandong Province.
At the meeting, Ye Jiayuan, president and senior engineer of the Institute of Cement Science and New Building Materials of China Building Materials Research Institute Co., Ltd., brought the Summary of the Latest Frontier Technologies of Low Carbon Cementitious Materials.
Ye Jiayuan said that there are many kinds of low-carbon cementitious materials, such as sulfur silicate clinker , which can reduce energy consumption by more than 10% and CO2 emission by more than 25%, and its performance is equivalent to that of silicate cement; in addition, no clinker/less clinker cement can replace cement (clinker) with a large amount of solid waste.
Ye Jiayuan mainly introduced the high belite sulphoaluminate cement. The cement is suitable for projects such as ports, seawalls, crack-free corrosion-resistant floors, rapid repair and the like; compared with the traditional cement, the cement accelerates the construction progress, improves the corrosion resistance, reduces the cracking risk, reduces the carbon emission by 30%, has a relatively high price, but is about 30% lower than that of the sulphoaluminate cement, has stable growth of the strength in the later period, has better cost performance in the whole period, and needs to pay attention to mechanized rapid construction. It has been successfully applied in the reconstruction of Zhoushan Port wharf and Shenzhen seawall.
