Ji Zhongquan, Deputy Chief Engineer of Qingzhou Zhonglian, introduced the research and development demonstration project of oxy-fuel combustion coupled carbon capture technology in cement industry.

From September 23 to 24, the 14th China Cement Energy Conservation and Environmental Protection Technology Exchange Conference and the 6th Intelligent Summit Forum were held in Zibo, Shandong Province.

At the meeting, Ji Zhongquan, Deputy Engineer of Qingzhou Zhonglian Cement Co., Ltd., brought the Introduction to the Research and Development Demonstration Project of Oxy-Fuel Combustion Coupled Carbon Capture Technology in Cement Industry.

It is understood that Qingzhou Zhonglian Cement Co., Ltd. is a wholly-owned subsidiary of China United Cement under Tianshan Material, the largest cement clinker production base of Tianshan Material in Shandong Province, the most complete base enterprise of Tianshan Material Industry Chain and one of t he typical representative enterprises practicing the "cement plus" development strategy. It is a new building material enterprise integrating comprehensive utilization, circular economy and green environmental protection.

Qingzhou Zhonglian Cement Co., Ltd. has an annual output of 200000 tons of carbon dioxide oxygen combustion enrichment and purification demonstration project, which is the largest cement industry in China, the first set in Shandong Province and the first cement plate carbon capture and utilization project of China Building Materials Group. It has been listed in the first batch of major scientific and technological projects in the national building materials industry and the National Development and Reform Commission's "Green Low Carbon Advanced Technology Demonstration Project". The liquid carbon dioxide production capacity of the project is 200,000 tons/year. Among them, industrial grade CO2 is 150000 tons per year, food grade CO2 is 45000 tons per year, and dry ice is 5000 tons per year.
