At present, the cement industry is facing multiple pressures such as demand contraction, overcapacity and high cost, and the situation is grim and complex. At this critical juncture, it is of great significance for us to gather together to discuss the development plan of the industry and work together to break through the transformation strategy.

In the face of the current predicament, I have a few suggestions to share:
First, it is necessary to strengthen industry self-discipline. We should rationally and objectively understand the situation of the industry, share the rise and fall of the industry, firmly establish the common values of the supremacy of the interests of the industry, abandon the "involution" vicious competition, and avoid damaging the long-term development of the industry due to short-term interests. By strengthening industry synergy, we can build a good industry ecology, reshape the value of the industry, and gather a strong joint force to promote the healthy development of the industry. Only in this way can we overcome adversity and achieve sustainable development.
Second, we should accelerate transformation and upgrading, and make every effort to promote energy-saving and carbon reduction transformation. The "double carbon" goal is not only a challenge, but also an opportunity. We should take scientific and technological innovation as the guide, actively adopt advanced energy-saving and environmental protection technologies and equipment, and promote the green transformation of the whole process of cement production. Increase R & D investment, explore the deep application of carbon capture and other technologies, reduce energy consumption and carbon emissions per unit product, enhance the green competitiveness of enterprises, and take practical actions to help achieve the national "double carbon" strategic goal.
The three is to speed up the pace of capacity reduction in the industry. Overcapacity is a stubborn disease that restricts the healthy development of the industry. We must resolutely implement the national industrial policy, take the initiative to eliminate backward production capacity and strictly control new production capacity. Through mergers and reorganizations, capacity replacement and other means, optimize the industrial layout, improve industrial concentration, and achieve efficient allocation of resources. Only by matching production capacity with market demand can industry get out of the predicament and usher in new development vitality.
