Two cement enterprises in Shanxi have been included in the pilot list of carbon emission management system for key industries in the province.

Recently, the Department of Ecology and Environment of Shanxi Province issued a public announcement on the pilot list (draft) of carbon emission management system for key industries and enterprises in Shanxi Province.

According to the working arrangements of "Notice on the Pilot Construction of Carbon Emission Management System for Enterprises in Key Industries" (Jinhuan Letter [2025] 410) and "Notice on Convening the Pilot Review Meeting of Carbon Emission Management System for Enterprises in Key Industries" (Jinhuan Letter [2025] 961), our office, together with relevant departments, will conduct a pilot review of carbon emission management system for enterprises in key industries. According to the proposed list, There are two cement enterprises in the pilot enterprises of carbon emission management system of key industries in Shanxi Province, namely Shanxi Excellent Cement Co., Ltd. and Witton Cement Group Co., Ltd.
