On September 12, the National Development and Reform Commission and the State Energy Administration issued the Special Action Plan for the Large-scale Construction of New Energy Storage (2025-2027). It is pointed out in the plan that the new energy storage multi-technology is gradually maturing. Lithium-ion battery energy storage has been applied on a large scale, compressed air energy storage, flow battery energy storage, sodium-ion battery energy storage and flywheel energy storage have been further commercialized, and solid-state batteries, gravity energy storage, thermal energy storage, hydrogen energy storage and other innovative technologies have been demonstrated and applied. Today,
with renewable energy becoming the mainstream, the innovation and breakthrough of energy storage technology has become the key force to promote energy transformation. 01 All vanadium redox flow battery energy storage demonstration project

Flow battery is a kind of electrochemical energy storage technology with great potential, which has attracted wide attention in the field of large-scale energy storage. Vanadium flow battery is the most mature and industrialized flow battery technology at present, which has many advantages such as safety, longevity and flexibility.
Anhui Conch Ronghua Energy Storage Technology Co., Ltd. is one of the carriers of Anhui Conch Group's green transformation and development. The company's digital intelligent integrated production line was put into operation in November 2024, with an annual production capacity of 300 MW/1GWh for all-vanadium liquid flow energy storage batteries. Its main business is the research and development, manufacturing and system integration of energy storage batteries, and providing customers with systematic solutions and intelligent integrated energy services. It has successively provided equipment and system solutions for three all-vanadium redox flow battery energy storage projects, namely, Zongyang Conch, Digang Conch and Ningbo Conch New Materials. 02 Carbon dioxide energy storage demonstration project

Compressed carbon dioxide energy storage power generation is an environmentally friendly and efficient new energy generation method. The system uses the surplus period of electricity to compress carbon dioxide for liquid storage, and gasifies the liquid carbon dioxide to drive the turbine to generate electricity at the peak of power consumption, so as to realize the circular conversion of "electric energy-potential energy-electric energy". It can effectively solve the problem of large volatility of renewable energy such as wind power and solar energy, and realize the stable supply of energy. Wuhu Conch 10MW/80MWh new carbon dioxide energy storage demonstration project implemented
by Conch Group in Wuhu Conch is the first carbon dioxide energy storage demonstration system in the global cement industry, which adopts the gas-liquid mutual conversion carbon dioxide energy storage technology route initiated in the field of new energy storage technology in the cement industry. The carbon dioxide captured on the cement production line is used as a medium for the energy storage system to realize the storage and recycling of carbon dioxide and reduce the cost of the energy storage system. The project was successfully connected to the grid at the end of December 2023. On December 27,
2023, the National Energy Administration announced the first batch of pilot demonstration projects of scientific and technological innovation (energy storage), which was officially included in the public list and became a national demonstration project of new energy storage.
