On September 12, China Building Materials Group held a communication and exchange meeting with external directors to thoroughly implement the spirit of General Secretary Xi Jinping's important exposition on building a modern enterprise system with Chinese characteristics, conscientiously implement the work plan of SASASAC of the State Council, strengthen the two-way communication mechanism between the headquarters of the Group and the dispatched external directors, and make every effort to promote the high-quality development of enterprises. Chang Zhangli, Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee and General Manager of the Group, attended the meeting and made a speech. Miao Xiaoling, Minister (General Manager) of the Organization Department (Human Resources Department) of the Party Committee of the Group, presided over the meeting.
Chang Zhangli fully affirmed the performance of the external directors dispatched by the Group, and combined with the relevant requirements of SASASAC for the construction of the board of directors of central enterprises, he hoped that the external directors dispatched by the Group could re-learn and re-understand the spirit of General Secretary Xi Jinping's important exposition on improving the modern enterprise system with Chinese characteristics, focusing on the objectives and tasks of the construction of the board of directors and highlighting the problems. Take the functions of the board of directors as the starting point, and make every effort to promote the high-quality development of enterprises. We should have a deep understanding of the political and economic responsibilities of serving as an external director of the group. We should not only connect policies upward and strive for resources, but also tap potential and increase efficiency inward and upgrade quality. More importantly, we should take root in enterprises downward, implement precise policies, improve creative execution, and be the executor, activist and doer of the group's strategic landing.
At the meeting, the heads of six relevant functional departments of the Group Headquarters made exchanges and speeches, introducing the key work of the departments and explaining the matters that need to be focused on and supervised by external directors. The external directors who attended the meeting shared their experience of performing their duties and offered suggestions on how to further play the role of external directors.
The communication meeting will be held in the form of live and video, and will be broadcast live online. More than 100 people attended the meeting, including full-time and part-time external directors of the Group, heads of functional departments of the headquarters and related personnel, 23 external directors serving as secretaries of enterprises and comrades in charge of performance guarantee departments.
